Rumor has it Capcom is planning a World Street Fighter 4 Tournament with representatives from Korea, Japan, North America and Europe. Iyo, the beast Dhalsim player, is representing Japan and Poonko, a Ryu player, is representing Korea.
EDIT: The rumored tourney date for the World Tournament is April 18, the same day as the Street Fighter 4 National Tournament finals in San Francisco.
