Elf Shit

Elves are cool. They have facking long ears and they can live for like, ever. For some reason this week, elves have been apart of my crazy interweb adventures: Mythic's MMORPG Warhammer Online and Facebook's RPG app, Elven Blood.

An MMO probably isn't the best thing to get into the first semester of college, but this game's been hyped as the "WoW Killer" so I thought I'd check it out. Too bad no one else I know plays - yet. aoiueaioueaioue. It's pretty fun so far, being a newb High Elf shadow warrior and all.

God dammit Charlie, why'd you go to Candy Mountain?! waiiiiii?

Lol, yeah, he activated my Trap Card. The bass trembled when he stomped around which was pretty cool.

Finally, I've been hooked on Elven Blood this week. Nothing's more fun than click-spamming buttons and buying imaginary equips, amirite? The "game" has an interesting storyline with mythical places like El Dorado and the Garden of Eden and legendary gear like King Arthur's Excalibur (lolnerd). If I send you a party invite, please accept!

We Just Got Ourselves a Real Match!

I just got off the weekend and I'm already tired...I had a hiragana flashcard quiz in Japanese 101 today. I passed - fifty six seconds out of a possible minute - thirty four seconds behind the fastest person in the class. The two fastest flashcard readers faced off before the end of class. I couldn't help but think of The Law's' commentary in this epic vid. IS MAHVEL BAYBEE!

Chicken Legs

I want to post more often, but school has been kicking my ass and indolent tendencies have been making it hard for me to do so.

Anyway, rewind to last weekend. On Sunday, my sister, some of her friends and I drove down to Long Beach to congratulate one of her friends who ran in the 24th annual Long Beach City Bank Marathon half marathon.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate finishing a race than going to Rosco's House of Chicken and Waffles.

I haven't been to a Roscoe's before. Some people love it; others think it's overrated. Our estimated wait time was 25-30 minutes, but they accidentally skipped us so it turned into 40 minutes. Not really a good thing to do to hungry peeps. But our waitress was prompt and we got our food pretty fast.

I figured I'd order the 1/4 fried chicken and waffles. The waffles were soooo good. Roscoe's own mix made the waffle warm and fluffy. Once you top if off with warm syrup, it's gg. The fried chicken was also tasty; crispy skin and tender meat. Roscoe's isn't a fancy restaurant for sure, but it sure quells the hunger.

A true feast, nomnomnom.
